In February, 2021 the volunteers of CDRS International had planned to embark on their fifth playground build. Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, it was postponed until February, 2022. In the fall of 2021 because of the unpredictability and high cost of shipping lanes coupled with the still-present COVID restrictions and uncertainties, it was decided to cancel the build in Belize.

In the meantime, our friends in Vietnam reached out to us at the end of 2021, indicating that they would like us to build another playground there and that they had already secured land and support from the government.

We are pleased to announce that CDRS International is planning another playground build in Vietnam in February of 2023.   Thanks to St. Pius Catholic School and Assumption Catholic School(Oyen), we will be taking a large playground to the proposed site. And thanks to Calder, Carlisle, Dunluce and Lorelei Beaumaris Community Leagues as well as St. Lucy Catholic School we will also be taking sports equipment and uniforms as well as toys, games and school supplies. Thanks to many other individual donors, we are going to be putting smiles on many children’s faces with toys, books, and educational supplies.

 Our mission statement remains,

Making a difference in the lives of others through donations and fund-raising, to provide recreational apparatus,

educational material and/or services for youth in countries less fortunate”

Once again, our volunteers are prepared to pay their own way to help make a difference in the lives of others.  We have an ongoing Value Village Fundraiser so if you are doing some spring cleaning and have gently used clothing that you would like to donate, please contact us at:
